Abstract

This article is part of the doctoral thesis “Afro-Descendant youth women narrativesregarding political subjectivity: de-colonial and feminist perspective” from the PhDprogram in Social Sciences, Childhood and Youth. Its purpose is to stablish reasoningperspectives that involve readers in the limitations and political possibilities fromAfro-Descendant youth in Colombia, in order to generate ethical, epistemological andsocial discussions towards the constructed society. The article starts with an approachto the political implications of being called Afro-Descendant; then, it questions aboutyouth and particularly Afro-descendant youth, and finally the article reflects abouttheir political thought and action.
