Abstract

The research summarized in this article corresponds to the case study of the actionsthat institutions of Bogota city have taken, intended to guarantee, in a differentiatedway, the right to health care for transgender people. The article focuses in the socialconditions and agents that intervene in this process, from the perspective that socialagents involved (district institutions, LGBT organizations and transwomen) have takenreflexive and intentional actions to transform reality. By means of a qualitative strategy,they were identified the obstacles and challenges that the vindication of the corporaltransformations presents to the study field of contemporary issues of inclusivedevelopment.
