Abstract

This article presents findings derived from the doctoral research titled "Teachers' initialtraining in long distance methodologies in Colombia". This study is framed in thesocio-historical approach of Lev Vygotsky, who analyzes the development of the highermental processes that cause learning from the internalization of specific social practices.The qualitative research and the study of multiple case generate results, whichhelp to characterized what would be a pedagogic device for the improvement of thequality of teachers' initial training in long distance methodologies.
