Abstract

This research aims to contribute both to characterize the new discourse on institutions that have shaped the contemporary educational trends, and secondly, to observe how materialize or not in a specific context, in this case, the Educational Institution departmental (IEDI) Our Lady of Grace, located in the city of Bojacá - Cundinamarca. He does it from inclusion in the program Education for Youth and Adults-school age (EDJA). The research findings enable become a benchmark for the design of public policies in EDJA and, likewise, provide elements for design proposals or guidelines that contribute to the configuration of a basic education for adults and youth, based on equity, participation and democracy.
