Abstract

The relationship between resilience and freedom arises from reflection research on conceptions of freedom in the first semester university students and students of primary, secondary and higher education, and its relationship with the increased number of dropouts in all levels of education, often generated not by a cognitive disability but shortfall in their own psychological resources to deal with adversity. This is a call to generate more research, because although there are some studies on the topic and the Pan American Health Organization issued a manual for handling, the approach has been particularly true in post-traumatic recovery, reason why it is necessary to orient and integrate the field of education
