Cuestionamientos a la sociedad moderna y criterios contextuales para una discusión de los principios de la educación actual

Abstract
El presente artículo describe las bases y cuestionamientos a la sociedad moderna, discutiendo dimensiones clave que estuvieron en la base de su despliegue y crisis. Constructos que parecían tan firmes originalmente, se encuentran hoy en una encrucijada para responder a la emergencia de nuevos procesos tornando cuestionables los logros alcanzados desde el siglo XVIII, marcando de incertidumbre y confusión la acción individual y colectiva. La aceleración del cambio, la complejidad de una sociedad diferenciada global y los cuestionamientos a la razón como fundamento de las estructuras modernas de convivencia, han generado crisis en la mayor parte de las instituciones e incertidumbre en las personas. En ese marco se aprecia desesperanza, pero también oportunidades para la educación que puede formular alternativas de discusión para ampliar las posibilidades transformación humana. Se proponen siete criterios para resituar contextualmente el entorno social de lo educativo y discutir en el nuevo escenario los ideales ilustrados.
