Collective Agency and Social Imaginaries in Three Community Development Experiences in Bogotá, Colombia

Abstract
This article presents a review of the conceptual foundations and results of three previous research works (Gil and Blanco, 2019; Barrios, 2020, and Sierra, 2021), developed with the aim of highlighting the heuristic potential of community mobilization actions as forms of collective agency. Through the analysis of the processes and achievements of three community experiences of an artistic and cultural nature, it is shown how collective agencies, through their processes of deterritorialization and reterritorialization, creatively confront established social imaginaries with proposals for instituting new ones. These processes achieve territorial reconfigurations that, as collective agency acts of resistance, mobilize the subversion of the "given worlds" towards the "possible worlds" and promote new forms of interaction and the development of autonomy as a human project.
