Abstract
La experiencia significativa Visualizarte surge desde el año 2006 en la Institución Educativa Santa Ana de los Caballeros ubicada en Ansermanuevo, norte del departamento del Valle del Cauca (Colombia), en un contexto social permeado principalmente por problemáticas asociadas con el narcotráfico, la desintegración familiar, la prostitución y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas. Dicha experiencia se desarrolla desde las áreas de Ciencias Sociales, Ética y Artística y su objetivo es utilizar los medios audiovisuales y el teatro como estrategias para promover el aprendizaje de los estudiantes en el aula, logrando además que sean más creativos, reflexivos, propositivos y gestores de transformaciones sociales positivas que impacten en su comunidad y atiendan a sus necesidades. Esta experiencia es liderada por los docentes de Ciencias Sociales Fernando Alberto Gálvez y Nancy Palacios e involucra a estudiantes de distintos grados, ex alumnos, docentes y personas de la comunidad.
