Abstract

The Investigator Jorge Eliezer Martinez meets four essays in this book already published and whose core is the issue of children and youth. It is certainly a benchmark from which the youth is seen as a contemporary category from which to address social theory. The staging of this approach goes beyond the description of youth as a category of human development and becomes an invitation for the reader to assume a critical position from which to reflect and develop their own interpretations.
The historical interpretation of the theories of young people that makes Jorge Eliezer Martinez is constructed from three essential concepts: demodernization whose referents are authors such as Alain Touraine and Anthony Giddens; crowd, developed from the contributions of Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri, and policies of the event, seen from the conceptions of Mauritius and Rossana Reguillo Lazzarato. As this is an exercise in academic synthesis, the reader can find items in your search let you move the research field of theory to practice, and from there, make a fundamental question from which to mobilize political place as a researcher social from the category youth.
