TOWARDS A RETHINKING OF AN ALTERNATIVE PROPOSAL OF EDUCATION FOR YOUNG AND ADULT PEOPLE: SYSTEMATIZATION OF ITEDRIS EXPERIENCE

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to give an account of a systematic research of ITEDRIS Foundation (Research, Technology and Education for Regional, Integral and Sustainable Development); considering its 10 years of work in the field of youth and adult education in Boyacá (Colombia). The aim of this text is to identify the lessons that have been consolidated in the proposal of popular education. This is done considering the collective reconstruction of ITEDRIS’ history, its academic and productive work, in order to develop teaching strategies that meet the need and expectations of young people and adults, whom are wishing to improve their quality life through education.
