Abstract
This article presents the methodological process of the Biofabricas Proyect, focused on the pedagogical and communicational strategies in the social appropriation of knowledge which allowed the social appropriation of knowledge and the active participation of social actors from three educational institutions in three counties of Caldas. This methodology highligths that the knowledge must be colective, intersubjetctive and situaded, promoting intances of community participation, in which image and communication mediate the transfer of knowledge. The episteme-community is a main concept becouse the community produces, appropriates and contextualizes knowledge. Therefore, the edu-communication is not only a theoretical frame but also a participative methodology, to recognize geographically, physically, aesthetically, emotionally and bio-economically the territory. Our conclusions highlight the edu-communicationan as a methedological option to the social appropriation of kwoledge to the long term, in the institutions that participated and suggest to think in the SDG like the main instances in the execution and development of projects with a socio-environmental focus.
