The Sense of Construction of the Social Fabric around Children from Early Childhood Education

Abstract

This article collects the results of the systematization of the work experience of the Care Unit, of Colsubsidio's own Multilevel Modality ‘Escalando mis Sueños’, located in the municipality of Guachetá, Cundinamarca. The elaboration was supported by the analysis of the information collected through face-to-face meetings and visits to the garden, in-depth interviews with the head teacher and the pedagogical assistant, the documentation of experiences carried out by them, and the development of a focus group with families. The approach to this experience makes visible: the classroom project as the center of pedagogical experiences and interactions, which mobilizes knowledge and practices around early childhood development and early childhood education; the union of efforts and collective work between the teacher and the pedagogical assistant as the promoter of the educational work and the organization of practices; and, the strengthening of actions by way of articulation with the interdisciplinary team of the modality.
